Kim Leadbeater, responding to today’s independent report from Batley Grammar School, said:
“There can be no excuse for the intimidation and threats against the teacher at Batley Grammar School. The children must come first and there should be no more disruption to their education.
“The upset and offence caused is understandable and the school has recognised that and has plans in place to make sure it isn’t repeated.
“Future conversations between the school, parents and the local community must happen in a constructive and respectful way so all sides can speak openly and frankly to move forward in the best interests off the pupils and refocus on the most important thing – their children’s education.”
